Tashkent Unscripted takes you beyond the usual tourist areas and approximately 30 minutes outside the city center, into neighborhoods where everyday life continues away from the tourist trail. This is not primarily a history tour — it is a conversation about how people in Uzbekistan actually live today.

Abdulloh shares these topics not only as a tour host, but from his own life and cultural experience. Where appropriate, personal photographs or wedding videos can help explain traditions in a way that no monument can.

This tour is for you if you are curious about people, not only monuments; you want to understand modern Uzbek culture; you enjoy conversations and personal stories; and you want an experience beyond the standard tourist route.

    What is everyday life like for an Uzbek family?
    How do Uzbek weddings happen? What does sovchilik mean, and how can families traditionally become involved in marriage?
    What customs and traditions are still part of weddings today?
    What is life like outside central Tashkent?
    How do children study and learn languages?
    How are traditions changing between generations?
    Depending on the day and what can be arranged, the experience may include visits to ordinary neighborhoods and opportunities to learn about local homes, community life and education. The exact experience can vary — because real life is not scripted.

The price covers up to 4 guests (a 5th guest is included if a child). For larger groups we quote a custom price, as a bigger vehicle may be needed.
