Zaamin Mountain Journey

The longer road, the bigger escape: Zaamin cable car, the Baxt Ko'prigi glass bridge, a waterfall and Jizzakh somsa — a full private day from Tashkent.

Far beyond the busy streets of Tashkent, in the Jizzakh region, lies one of Uzbekistan's most impressive mountain landscapes. Zaamin is approximately 4–5 hours from Tashkent — but for travelers who love mountains, dramatic scenery and adventure, the journey itself leads somewhere special.

Amirsoy and Chimgan are excellent for an easy mountain escape close to Tashkent. Zaamin is for those who want to go further — deeper into the mountains, toward wider landscapes and a completely different atmosphere. The scenery is especially beautiful in winter and spring.

Price is per private group, not per person. Timing may vary depending on traffic, weather and the pace of the day.

Itinerary

  1. Tashkent → Zaamin → Tashkent

    08:00–09:00 · Hotel pickup; drive of about 4–5 hours
    12:00–13:00 · Arrive at the Zaamin cable car area
    Zaamin Cable Car — rise above the mountains. Guests buy their own round-trip tickets at the ticket office. Local transport toward the next highlight can be arranged.
    Baxt Ko'prigi (Bridge of Happiness) — a glass bridge set high between dramatic mountain slopes. Zipline and other extreme activities may be available and are completely optional.
    Zaamin Waterfall — slow down, listen to the flowing water and take photos.
    Bosim Bobo Restaurant — try Jizzakh's famous large somsa before the drive home.
